Hey. My friend has an '87 kx 125 that he wants to put a headlight on. He has a headlight from an unknown quad or bike, but it is supposed to be attached to the forks with rubber straps, like an old 250r 3-wheeler. It matches his bike perfect, but we can't seem to power it. He tried using his hot wire to the kill switch, but when connected to the light it just kills the engine. Can anyone tell us how to take voltage from the ignition {magneto) on this bike and use it? Thanks.
