A buddy recently blew the motor in his new wheeler. He had a replacement motor, and that blew. The problem was traced to the elbow that attaches the oil cooler to the motor. At first glance it looked fine. If you tried to flush the line, you would find that the elbow was not machined correctly. The motor side was machined, but the "pipe" was still sealed at the other end. I'll bet someone at a job shop is going to have a bad day !! And the assembler! Either way, the dealer and A/C are making it good for the guy. The dealer coughed up a demo so he wouldn't miss out on th riding while the bike was down.
