My dealer charges way too much for NGK plugs and doesn't have the NGK IX iridium plugs. I placed my order yesterday with standard shipping and I received my order today! Can't beat that.

DR8EA - NGK stock plug
DR8EIX - NGK IX iridium

I bought the NGK IX iridium in DR9EIX for the 14:1 compression.

Whats the plus side to running iridium plugs and what are iridium plugs. I run Eric's 14:1 and if I should be running this plug over a cooler stock plug then????

 

oops, mine are 7.39 a plug. i do use the dr8eix. there like a platnum plug last longer a little better electrode.

 

If your running the 14:1 piston then you are to run the DR9 series plugs.

 

I do run the 9's now ....but what are iridium plugs??? Just fancy for platinum plugs??
