Well I need some info from you Honda guys, try not to be too biased.
I am looking for a fast two stroke to fix up and would love to fix up a classic 80's quad but can't decide which one. These bikes are all fast as hell and have there own problems. Is the Honda really worth what these guys ask for even a beaten stock one?
The kawasaki and suzuki are so much cheaper to buy used and I hope someone could tell me why?

 

well the fastest is the suzuki lt 500r over wise known as the quadzilla then second fastest is the tecate 4 which is the least comon to come by and the one that there is the least parts then then lt 250r comes next with a good after market supply of parts then the 250r which has the most parts available but is the most expensive because they are in demand for racing...if you are looknig for drag racing go with the zilla to fix up for the track the trx250r is the way to go for trailing the lt250r is the way to go and for drag/flattrack/tt racing go with the tecate it depends on what you want to do with the quad

 

if you're going for a classic id go with the tecate for a big challenge.

the 250r undoubtingly has the most potential because of its aftermarket out of the 3 but you sound like you want to revive a classic more than anything.
