Ok here's the deal:
Neighbor just bought a new YFZ-450. He's selling his old Warrior. It looks great other than a few scratches and sounds great. I've seen him riding it around before.
Here's what I know about it:
2001 Model
Pro Circuit T4 System,
Jett Kit,
Renthal Handlebars,
AC Nerf Bars,
DG Front Bumper.
It looks as if it rides wonderfully. He wants $2,000 for it.
This seems to be an awesome deal. What do you think?
Thanks for your help.
ML

It sounds like a great deal!

I think you will find on the NADA website that an '01 Warrior in "good-to-great" shape is worth around $3000.

If you know the guy and think he's a straight dude, all the better. Even from a stranger it would be a good deal.

If it is in as good of shape as you say, give him the 2K and dont try to weasle down a GREAT price, that is just getting greedy. I would ask him about his maintenance routine he has done to the quad and any receipts he has for service. Just out of curosity, why do you want to add another warrior to your stable of quads, you already have one?

It's not that I want another Warrior so bad. It's that this is a great deal. I may or may not resell it for a profit. Right now, I'm thinking about selling my KFX 400 and my older warrior, buying a YFZ or Raptor this Warrior. I'll just see how it works out. I'll keep you updated. Thanks,
ML

If your neighbor is a friend of yours and your intent is to turn it for a profit only, tell him or her that the quad is underpriced and to shop it around to get a fair price for it.
