Default Outlander Tires

How many plies are the stock tires? I just blew one. Cut in the middle, un-fixable.

Im going to upgrade . So what does everybuddy use? Any problems with 26" tires? Im leaning towards Mudlites, or a equivilent. I plan on using them in the snow.

hey sledrider.i think the stockers are only 2 ply.the mudlites are the most popular tire.26ers might rob a little power.but i think the 26ers have a deeper lug than the 25ers.im sure they will be great in the snow.

Hey sledrider I also have an outlander xt. All my buddies all got polaris's and bomb blows them all away. Anyways i have same problem as you with tires, puncutred sidewall, not fixable, i was also looking for an upgrade in tires and liked the Mud Lites and I have heard alot of good things of the ITp holeshot ATR radials. IM trying to decided, i live in upstate new york so i will be in plenty of snow this winter. Just let me know what you decided to go with.

Just ordered the 25" Mudlites. Really tempted to go 26", but all the extra weight and such, dont want to hurt performance.

These tires gotta be better than the stock tires it came with.

I hear that the ITP 589 M/S are the best for mud and snow and are the light weight as well.
It is a very aggressive mud and snow tire. A two inch lug depth
and self cleaning tread design.

589 are great, but VERY HEAVY compared to the lights. By the book, they are 6 lb over same size mudlite.
