do i have to buy a special socket to tirque it down? the bolt has an allen head on it, how do i use a torque wrench on it?

 

Are you talking about the actual cam gear or the cam retaining plate?. I will give you both just in case. Cam chain gear is 37 lbs ft. Cam retaining plate is 89 INCH pounds. Make sure you use an inch pound torque wrench or you will twist the bolt off in the head. Cam chain gear is 37 foot pounds which is a lot higher torque spec then 89 inch pounds.
