400ex stock exhaust question. Am i missing power?
Hey,
on my 400ex, my stock exhaust before i baught it, was cut out. The silencer and all. Does this take away power? How much if so? Is there anything i can do to regain it?

What do you mean cut out, was the baffle removed? If the whole silencer is gone, that can be hard on your valves over time. I would replace it with a stock or aftermarket one. On ebey stock ones are dirt cheap.

hey,
i believe just the crap inside the muffler. The whole exterior thing of it's there. i just dont think there's anything in it. It still has the chrome cover ont he back of it to. And it is really loud. do you thinkk thats bad on it? Does anyone have exhaust they wills ell me?

That is just your core that is gone, I don't believe that will hurt anything. I would get another one though because they sound like crap without them. Ebay usually has them very cheap!

sad story. I go to kansas state university (kstate wildcats). .... they suck, i have to admit. haha. I always kinda liked the texas longhorns better. but i still will bet on the wildcat's...sometimes. Will bet someone on kstate vs. nebraska? Big Big Game
