This has not only happened to me currently on eBay but I have heard of it happening to other people as well.

Try to be very careful when purchasing off eBay:

wtf? I hate eBay. I bought my brother a Yoshimura slip on for his 400 Ex once and we got it and tried to put it on and it didn't fit. We took it down to a dealership and asked them about it and they said that it wasn't even a ATV pipe, it was a street bike pipe. The guy never gave me my $200 back. Explain? This is a pic of your bike, someone claiming to be you selling a bike, whatever?

 

u just need to have smarts when shopping on ebay for a quad.... like where is it @ dose it look real? ask seller alot of questions

just water mark your photos says "this is not for sale" or (I'm kinda laughing right now) "This is my bike so back off and it its on ebay and you bid on it your an idiot"

 

You don't have to look very hard to see a fake on Ebay. This one is a no brainer. I've purchased boats, cars, trucks, airplanes, ATV's, clothing, school supplies, electronics, auto parts, atv and motorcycle accessories, tires, trailers, outboard motors, models, computers, cameras, books,lawnmowers, camping equipment, dog training colars, sporting goods, gps's,and satelite telephones. I've never been burned

 

I never got an answer. I assume that someone was using your pictures to auction off a quad, without your permission?

I kind of did that, my digital broke, so I put up my camper with pics from a dealership, but stated they were for telling the layout and such, as they were not pictures of mine. I scanned in a Poloroid of the interior and exterior so they could see the basic condition was just as good....

 

6 months back I bought a Blaster with 5 hours on it that had only been ridden a couple times in snow. Showroom condition cause it had never been in dirt, and saved $1200 over the local dealer's price. Quite possibly the best deal I ever made period. 3 hours from my house to pick it up. But I will say I was nervous as hell about the deal before I saw it because I didn't know what I was getting into, and was the first major $$$$ buy I ever did on EBAY
