I am starting on the 86 200x either tommorow or Wednesday and I was looking it over really good a little bit ago and I noticed something that is really bad. The Hub has been welded to the axle at some point in its life. Does anyone know of an aftermarket axle made for this bike? I know durablue doesnt make one.

Thanks, I dont know why I didnt think to go and look there. I am likley going to wind up with an O.E.M. since someone was to cheap to buy a hub and there is no aftermarket one avalible.

also the oem axle is discontinued, maybe you could get lucky like I did and got a nos durablue, look on ebay, they come up every couple weeks or so.

 

I think you might come into bigger problems getting the axle out i have a 86 200x and it is a bi*ch to get it out i still have not got it out if you can tell me how i would appreciat it
