I am a die hard for the terfs groved and nongroved
I like the new MX holeshot tire but its 2inchs. taller than the terfs. I have had good luck with the terfs. What is everone else using? I dont have a problem with front tires, but what are others using for Fronts too? I use steel belted radials.

I use shredders......they hook up great.....of course they are too big....20" I didn't have the money for smaller wheels when I bought them so 20" was the smallest I could find.

I like grooved turf-tamers, but I havent tried the new holeshot mx tires. They are only 18" if they are the actual MX version, I am waiting to try them out. I have a friend who swears they are better than the tamers and last longer too.

I seen a pair of the new holeshot mx tires straight from the factory and they were defected. After one ride they were all chipped up. The guy was returning them and he switched to 18" razr rears. I run 20" razr's on my ex and they are way better than holeshots. From a brochure i read the 18" rarz is also lighter than the holeshot.

I was chatting with Shawn at K&K ATV the other day. I asked what his opinion on the holeshot mx tire was. He said they are sticking with the tried and true grooved tamer on the banshee. He said the holeshots spun just too much (what doesnt on a banshee!). I run grooved tamers and I am sticking with them. They may have a short life, but when grooved they hook up.

I have had both the grooved turfs and just now got the holeshot 18 mx's. Even though they are both 18 inch tires the holeshots are a bit larger more like a 19 in. Its a tough call between the two the turfs nice but I think I am liking these holeshots more each time I ride. The biggest difference i noticed was on the track when sliding around the corners as soon as you get on the throttle the bike straightens out and you are gone. were as the turf seem to keep you sideways for a little longer. I guess either would work but a least the holeshots don't have to be grooved. The holeshots do seem to give me a better line also. FYI.
If someone else has these holeshots and are the same size as the turfs let me know cause maybe mine are defective ones.

They do but they are hard to find from what i heard. If i was going to race i would run them. I don't really care for holeshots anymore, i get to many flats.
