what kind of oil should i use in my 2001 scrambler 500?

i got a scrambler 500, 2wd, 2001, and i never got an owners manual with it. what kind of oil do you recommend? i think it has to be synthetic right?

Polaris stuff, Mobil 1 Syn. 0W-40, or my personal favorite................................Amsoil 0W-40 4 stroke formula

I would stick with the Polaris fluids.
