Hello group!!!Does anyone know if any aftermarket companys offer a clutch kit to improve the operation of the belt drive on my AC? My Cat will sometimes rev up before it will engage. Is this common? There are lots of companys that make them for Polaris. I have not seen any for Suzuki or Artic Cat. Any help is appreciated!!! Ride hard & safe!!!!

I dont know of any aftermarket clutches for the Arctic Cat. The cat uses a continuously engaged belt drive with a different drive clutch. The other manufacturers use the variable drive as the clutch. Since the cat's belt is constantly engaged, if you do a quick stop the belt does not have time to properly readjust itself to low speed. If you will touch the throttle just enough to engage the drive clutch after stopping it will readjust itself without chirping.

Thanks Kstrailz, I apprecate the info on the belt drive. It is kind of a pain in the a-- when the chirping happens. Do you think this will cause premature belt wear? On Sunday I managed to go thru rack deep water without getting the belt wet. I was thrilled!!!!
