Default Oil Change Question

I have 9 hours on my Twin Peaks. I changed the oil for the first time and couldn't even tell it was used. The oil color was identical to the new oil. Is this normal? I expected black. I guess this is a good thing as it means the engine inside is clean or the filter is doing a great job. What is everybody else's experience?

Default Oil Change Question

I've seen pretty much the same on any bike I've done the first service on. Thing to remember is you are getting some of the wear metals out, which is something you can't see by eye. If your were to take a sample of your first oil change and sent it for analysis, you'd be surprised at the ppm count of wear metals compared to a subsequent oil change. No worries brother

Default Oil Change Question

Thanks for the reply. Other wheelers have come out black rather than clear.
