Hey guys, i havent changed my spark plug in my z250 sence i bought it, which was a year ago. I was wondering what are the positives and negatives about havin that? thanks

 

The first issue is this...Have you looked at it? Removed it and checked it?

The good thing is this. It must be running good with the original. (I hope)

You will probably will notice a difference when you do change it.

I change my plug and oil every other time I go riding
I want to make sure it s well maintained for riding

 

Ok thanks, maggiesboy, my quad suprisingly still runs great even though i havent changed it, but next time i go to get oil (soon) ill pick up a spark plug! hopefully theres a differnce too!

 

changing oil and plug everytime u ride is pointless and a waste of money, but to each there own i guess. Unless you are rideing for like a week strait or somthin

 

Yes that is overkill. Kind of like changing your car's oil every 1000 miles along with your plugs and wires.

 

Well, by the looks of his quad it looks like hes runnin alot of power and to spend that kinda money on ur quad u gotta be racin it in some way, also his motors gonna be runin hard, so hes probally right to change his spark plug like that( nice quad mucky)!!!

 

theres nothing worse than being out riding and your miles away and your plug takes a dump
thats why I change it so often and beside I buy my plugs wholesale and get them cheap
I run 2 ranges hotter plug than stock

 

Why? not a good idea on a four stroke.
