scrambler and 400$... what to do?
#1
i got a budget of about 375-450 right now. i want to put more mods in the scrambler and dont know where to start. i was just ganna buy a hsp clutch kit and v force reeds, spacer and k&n filter. but i seen that big bad scrambler recommened the rcr stage 1 kit. it doesnt look like a bad deal... actually it looks great. so what do you guys think i should do( and what exactly is ritters high flow air box mod?)... and thanks alot in advance!

alright well i got a few questions about that mod.
1) it says it offeres 3 types of pipes. a topend, midrange, and low end. i want accelereation or midrange. but the bottem end pipe says you should use stock clutch springs so would there be a point to getting a clutch kit?
2) i want to race cross country.. well maybe one day but i ride mostly trails and stuff. so what pipe would you recommend?
3) what is the deal with the airbox mod... im curious cause i kinda wanted to eliminate that whole airbox with a k&n but i still hit alot of mud/water so i am skeptical about that. so how does this mod look/perform.

I would get the mid pipe. Or the HPD trail piepe that can come with the kit too. Along with clutching obviously. The whole K&N deal without the box, i thought about that too, but i chose not to risk it with the water, I kept the box but modified it alot. If you search for threads about it they will tell you how to do it. I also got a K&N filter for iside it with an outerwear.
Before you deice on mods, call rick, tell him what you want to do, and he will tell you how to do it.

you should already be able to take a warrior, but the kit is prolly good for close to 10 hp, but if yuo ask me its all about clutching IMO
