Dg Xcclerator exhaust leak!
#1
Hey today when i started my lakota sport i felt a leak coming from where the header part of the pipe connects to where the silencer is. In picture six on my page you can see what i'm talking about right before the silencer part where it get big. It's leaking from there. I did a wheelie and smashed up the bottom of my pipe and now it's bent up a little so i might have broke something when that happen. I don't think that i should worry to much about it, but i just don't want it to fall apart in a few months or a year. Also i adjusted my clutch and it fells good noe but until my quad is warmed up the clutch slips in 4-5th gears. I want the k&g clutch but i can't find it anywhere any help on that, and now i'm looking into DP clutches. I want a cheap but good working clutch at the same time.

i think you can get the KG clutch through Parts Unlimited (dealers have the catolge) that's were mine came from. I don't think the leak will hurt and i know that freakin brake caliper is in the way and kills my supertrapp

Ya with the stock grab bar curling up figured that would happen since the pipe had no protection from wheelie's, Check PRM.com they have grab bars for the Lakota for $28.95,(check my pics to see the thick alluminum tube that will protect my pipe if I pull up to hard on a wheelie) that was one of the first things I replaced was that wimpy looking stock grab bar. Also dont worry about the exhaust leak, my Supertrapp does it in the same spot (not from dinging it though) it's nothing to worry about mine seems to be sealing itself the more I ride. Good luck

Thanks BlazinBlu for the help. My friend and i looked closer the other night at my pipe and checked the bolts and stuff and it seems not as bad but still a little leak so like you said i'm not going to worry about it. Thanks for the website i'm going to check it out as soon as i'm done on atvconnection. Nice lakota sport by the way love the grab bar. Hope to get one soon.

What the was that! I went to PRM.com and this business stuff came up. I think if anything those people on that site are against us quad riders. I think that you might have mixed up something are you sure it's not .org or something.
