Default Struts Front shocks / 650-02

Dealer says they are not covered with Ext warranty this true?

They are probably considered a wear item... if you have one that is shot, look at replacing them with new Works struts... A-MAN has a set on his quad, & they are a big improvement over the stock ones... mine are worn out, from several years of abuse, I'll be looking at getting a set this winter...

My dealer covered mine under extended warranty, and he watches our obstacle course races and saw me jumping 25 ft in length, 5 ft high. He didn't care, he still got it covered, no problem.

NovaKaw - sounds like you have an awesome dealer. I have never been able to get my dealer to cover one thing under warranty. When my top end went (no circlips on the wristpins), I had to take my quad to a dealer in another state to get it covered under warranty. My local dealer is worthless on the service side of things.

twinrider - newbeatle is correct about the works struts. They are far superior to the stockers and cost less than Kawi wants for replacements. I still have a good stock strut from my '03 P650. When one went, I replaced both with Works Struts. If you only need one, shoot me a PM, and maybe I can hook you up.
