as far as what? for example speed, torque, takeoffs, etc. I am going with type 6 ITP C series wheels with the ITP Mudlites for the better tread and looks but the loss of the weight should be an advantage to my takeoffs due to having less weight to move!!

as far as everything, like mudding, handling, speed etc.etc

not at all.. if u have ever ridden a polaris machine the suprising power makes up for the weight think of it as a caddy!!!

sorry i didnt finish your question, my 500 goes through way more mud then i expected it would i but when it gets stuck it gets STUCK but the warn 2.5 that came with it really comes in handy

exactly what I was thinking but did not mension. the power of the sportsman quads is amazing and everyone thinks an extra 50-100 pounds is like the end of the world or something but when they see how well they run/operate/feel then they understand what we are talking about when we say the polaris slogan "THE WAY OUT".

the extra weight is beneficial when using a plow.
