i heard that you can make them street legal with permits or something
i live in IN and have a ttr-125 off road bike and want to ride on the streets

 

I am not 100% what is all needed buy I know a few things to give you the basic idea.

I don't know how this exactly goes but you need a certain ammount of CC's in order to make it street legal. I heard something like 250cc but I might be wrong.

Here is some stuff...

Mirrors
Turn signals
Horn
head light(s) (maybe high beams, not sure)
taillight(s)
brakelight(s)
street legal mod(s) (exhaust, etc.)


Thats all I can think of, you will probably need to register it.

denniskirk.com has a kit that'll give you all the lights and the place for a licencse plate. A 125 might be considered a scooter. I say go check at the town office or wherever you rgister your vehicles and ask them. They should be able to at least point you in the right direction to get some info.
