In back, I run ITP T-9 rims (9X9" with 3/6 offset) with (relatively light) 6-paddle 20X11-9 Skat-Trak Edge tires. The thing I like about the ITP's, is that they make the bike considerably WIDER........like about 3"! Makes for a nice increase in stability! In the front, I run Skat-Trak Mohawks, on T-9's.

The theory is that rim is lighter than tire, so by going to taller rims you save weight. Thing is, you will loose the cush of the bigger tire. I always go with 9" diameter, as the happy medium between 8" and 10".
