Its 2wd. Would it push snow?

 

Put chains on it and it will move some snow. But without AWD and low range, don't expect it to do too much.

 

ya, it just really wont be enough power to do a whole lot.. In my opinion it would be a waste of time and money to throw it on the blazer. They usually sugest something with about 400 cc for plow use...I've seen some 350cc with plows that wern't to bad.

 

Do the chain thing, and maybe even a rack so you can throw some more weight on the rear....And get a good running start before you drop the plow.......

 

So it seems like it will not push much huh.....
I live in chicago, most smow is 3-4 inches. The plow is $490.00 tax and all. But if it will not push it, it would be a waist.

I'm sure it would work fine for 3-4 inches. I live in Maine, and most people don't even bother plowing until we get 7 or more inches of snow.

 

you would be better off spending your money on a snowblower,if the plow was free id say take it and see what happens but i wouldnt spend the cash on it just to realize it wasnt worth it..

 

I have the cycle country plow on my 250 with the 48inch blade. I do just fine and last winter i made about 400 bucks from plowing. The plow i have has the manual lift so you just pull the the lever to drop it or bring it up. Its easy to install it takes me about 2-3 minutes so hook everything up or unhook everything. All i do is lower the rear tire pressure a little and i can hook up pretty well and push a lot of snow. I will be putting the plow on soon so if you want i can take some pics to show you.

 

Well you would be the first one i talked to that has had 1. That is the brand i was also looking at. Yours looks like it has alot done to it.
Mine is 100% stock and staying that way. Stock do you still think it would push ok? Thanks for the responce.

 

put it on ur raptor!!! or just buy a snowblower
