im looking at getting some a-arms for my yfz450 but i dont know if i should go +3 long travel or +2 long travel. i was told if i got +3 it would be too wide for nationals. Is this true or what. What do you guys recommend also what brand should i go with I was thinking Roll design or lonestar. Any suggestions?

i hear 2 1/2 is the wides you can go for nationals on the yfz.. Try metal craft .

 

Call Angela at LSR. Ask her what width to stay national legal.
Keep in mind that you need long travel shocks for long travel a-arms.
For MX, I think they run +3.

 

here we go! national limit is 50in wide, that means you can run a +3 a arm with a 1-4in rim off set, OR a +2 a arm with a 2-3in rim off set.

if you go long travel I would go with (walsh, gibbison, or roll design) with SHOCKS and A ARMS for long travel your looking at $2500

 

I would like to get Roll Design but there just too damn expensive. Your guess is as good as mine. I think i am going to buy the lt a arms and lt shocks and i will worry about the rear shock at a later time. Anyone know the prices of Gibson a arms?

 

long travel will be the same price as the roll design, same with walsh.
