Dont bother with the clamp-on. It gets so dirty after one ride.

You can get outerwears for the k&n...it helps filter bigger particles out before it hits the filter..so it is a +

You wont notice a big difference if you go from twin air to k&n. It will be small if any difference. Id just stick to the twin air. The K&Ns are also a little pricey compared to the others.

I ran K&N's for a few years, but have now gone back to UNI foam on all my bikes. I just like the added security of foam! Look at a K&N. What do you have between all that dirt and a toasted engine? A wimpy little thin piece of cotton gause!

Not sure what the Z250 air intake is like, but I had to go with a Pro-Flow adapter and clamp on foam filter on my Z400. It's great!

This is the idea, but I don't see a listing for the 250??? But, give them a call, just maybe something else will adapt. Most people with low end machines don't mod them up to much, so manufacturers just ignore that market.
