Default ITP wetlands review, your opinion needed!

Have been taking a look at the ITP Wetlands tires, and was wondering if anyone here has them. Are they any good?

How are they for mud riding?

Tehy seem to be good tires, I don't think they will be great mud tires but they are good trail tires. They ride very smooth and I think they will wear well. I have not run them in much mud yet.

The fact that they are 26x10 inches wide in the back and 26x8 front is enough for me to buy them.

Superhuge, extrawide, and too heavy rubber just is not the answer.

As for mud riding, how do they compare to something like a Bearclaw or Mudlite? Anyone else?

Most 26" tires can be had with those widths, but you also have the option of a 9" or 10" front with 12" rear. Depending on the size of your bike, this can be good or bad.

Are the ITP Wetlands the same as the Polaris PXT's and/or Bombardier ACT's?

Thanks for you input, Vaquero.

You must be the only guy on the www with wetlands!

I was at my Yami dealer about a year ago and saw two 660 Grizzlies side by side with the rear diffs taken out. Both of those quads had 12" wide rear rubber which he said was the reason the diffs blew. No warranty either. Cost to fix: $1100.00 each.

Too bad no one else makes a 26x10 or 11. They would sell a ton of 'em!

Yea I was trying to get some info on them here before I bought them, no luck. I have only a few miles on them but I like them. I used to run Gators but they were too heavy and too agressive for my liking. Theses are lighter and ride very smooth. I have 26" and that helped a little too. If it would ever snow here I would post my thoughts on them in the snow and mud, I can compare them to Mud Lites and the old gators so I think that would give a lot of people their reasonable ability in the different conditions. I ran them on one trail with a lot of rock and they did very well there but so did everything else that was along for the ride.

regarding the two Grizzly 660 with the differntial out, from 12" tires/wheels, can you please explain more, as I have a grizzly 660, and would like to buy some new tires, and possibly wheels, but have no idea what to purchase. I suppose I'd like to avoid having my diff blow out on me from oversized tires or wheels.

1. 25, 26 or 27" = Tire size?
2. 9, 10 or 12" = wheel size?
