Default Sp 600/700 updates

Hi,

I just took my 03 Sp 600 in to get the the carb and vent line updates done. When I paid for it, there wasn't anything written on the work order for the vent line update. When I asked about it, they told me it was done. Not being the most mechanical person, what/where do I look to check that this was done?

Thanks in advance!

Should be a 12"x1/2'" rubber hose covered with a chrome insulator wrap going from the airbox to the motor. It will have a 1 inch slit in it lenth wise with a mark next to it. I'll have to check my paperwork to be sure or for more info.

Is this the one that attaches to the front of the air box and has what looks like an inline filter in it? If that's it, mine doesn't have a foil heat shield on it so I'm wondering if they really did the fix. Does this whole piece(including the filter) get replaced? Do you have the part number(s)?

Thanks a bunch.

There is no filter. The line is at the top left side front of the airbox (if you were sitting on it). It will have a hose spring clamp on it.

It was a service bullitin, see info above. I think it was fixed by the 04.5 models and the EFI.
