Instaling thumb warmer ?

Default Instaling thumb warmer ?

Hi. I want to install my new kimpex thumb warmer on my 2000 450 ES..but i do not know where to tap into the power supply..AND which color of wire is the main power that I need to spice into ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Default Instaling thumb warmer ?

Does that have the accesory plug? Thats a great place to find a keyed, fused, pair of wires. Just tap into them, one is the hot and one is ground.

Hi thanks for the reply. I think i will try taping into the accessory outlet. I was procrastinating installing it...but we got about 10 cm of snow last night ...so it's time to get the thumb warmer on.

theres usely a black and red wire the red wire splices in to a pink or red igition wire so when you turn your ke yoff it turns off and connect the black wire to your frame youll have too take the front racks and plastic of to get to the igition wire ne
