I could not get my scrammy to shift into drive...it would go "almost" to slipping into gear, but not quite....how did this comew out of adjustment? tHE ROD THAT CONNECTS THE SHIFTING BAR TO THE TRANNY was end to end on threads, so it couldn't be longated any more, thenI saw the shifting bar ajustment it is diagonal and has 6 diff settings, the previous owner had it set on eth very too top notches, this not only shortned the rod's range of movement, it also was rubbing against my exaust header pipe. So problem solved, but I still want to know how one day it worked, then a few weeks later it was out of ajustment...what moved?

 

it probablly had to do with it being like just hanging on the edge. might fall off might not u get what im saying
