subject sums it up, I'm wondering if I should get 20 or 22 inch rims and tires for the back end of my scrambler. the fronts would follow shortly.

how much would I loose of the topend with 20's? the only reason I'm considering 20's is to try and lower the quad abit. it seems tippy when I am trying to spin donuts, but the rest of the time its good. I figure most of this is from the stock 489 tires. I put a set of 20x11x8 carlisle bad lands on it once, and I was able to spin donuts easily. I figure with a 22 inch higher ply quality tire it would be about as good as these cheep ones.

I've got 20" Razrs and love'em. Try some wheel spacers if wheelies are your thang. I've got wheel spacers and can do donuts until I get dizzy with no tippyness. I used to have some pics of mine with the Razrs and wheel spacers. I'll try and get some on my page here shortly so you can see how it looks. Also I've GPS'd mine at almost 76mpg so I don't think you'll lose too much top speed.

I just got them up. Pics 7, 14. When they get approved of course.

I've had them for a couple of years and they are still in good shape. Sorry that I can't help on how well they do in mud or snow since I usually only ride in the dunes. That's probably why they are still in such good shape.

I'm thinking Im going to go 22. on a 9x9 inch rim, they are and each wider a side ad that should add some stability.

I have wheel spacers on my big red 2.5 a side, they did wonders for that. I may get them for the scrammy but they will make it pretty wide. I had a reck this weekend from its width, or well my inability to judge my quads width. lol

thanks for all the replys. I figure if the 22 inch holeshot xct's suck, I can always sell em locally or online. IF any one thinks 22's are bad speak now. I have been thinking hard on it and think it should be ok.

Not a thing wrong with 22's . Just be back to stock height. Yeah the wheel spacers don't get in the way when you're out in the wide open dunes.

I got a set of holeshot 22x11x10 and they seem REAL heavy. I gues cause theyre 6ply.They are on 190s and they weigh 25lbs each. But they do bite.
