Default front brake problem on 400 scrambler.

one of my front brake seems seized on my scrambler. its the front right brake if your sitting on the quad. If you have the front end lifted up the hub on the left side(fron the drivers seet again) will free wheel when you spin it the right willl not. I can gently pry the brake pads apart on the bad side(right) and it will free wheel but after I squeeze the brake the caliper seems to try and hold onto the rotor. I can spin it but theres much more resistance, and as soon as I stop exherting force the hud stops spinning.

anyone know what the deal is? I know nothing about brakes but can't figure out why its doing this. the pads are also loose on both my front brakes.

have you tried bleeding the brakes in front? their may be a air buble in the line. also check to see if you have plenty of brake fluid in your handlebar reservior. if its low you may have a small air pocket thats trpped in the line. giving one side more pressure then the other.

at each brake caliper theirs a small bolt looking bleeder. it has a small port for fluid to come out of. looking at the bike from the front you want to start bleeding the one to the left first and then do the right. make sure you have fluid in hadlebar res. crack loose the bleeder valve at caliper. slowly squeeze the brake lever till fluid flows out. when the brake lver has been depressed alll the way then keep brakes pressed and tighten bleeder valve. do this several times in that order. keeping a eye on the res. that it stays full of liquid. once you have done both sides this way see if this helps the brakes. you should bleed each side about three times. you can do the same for the rear. but use the foot lever to press down vs. the handle bar lever. theres a small res. of fluid by the plastic guard. its white in color. make sure this has fluid while your bleeding rear brakes.
hope this helps.

remove all those junk front brake and line, especially if you're doing
very closed race on wide open spaces,
the weight loss is an upgrade too,it is not for all but worth with
very proper maintenances of the rear brake regulary,,,it brake then
not as tight with front but you got an safety brake alternative,
