04 v 05 kfx 700 is there and differences

Default 04 v 05 kfx 700 is there and differences

Hey guy i was looking for an 05 kfx 700 and came across an 04 for $650.00 is this the same as the 05? Some one had mentioned that they had problems with the plastic and it breaking any one else run into this problem? Thanks for your help.

The only difference that I was able to see between the 04 and 05 was the fact that Kawasaki had to eleiminate the V-froce name from the quad. Other than that the quad should be the same. Yes, some people have had problems with their plastic breaking but I don't know how this happened or how often it happens. If you have more questions go to the kawie riders website

mechanically I believe they are the same. The plastic problem was more common with the lava red and the simulated carbon fiber.

I believe the 05 has a slightly larger carb, and a throttle position sensor on the carb as well.

I haven't looked, but if the carb does have a throttle position sensor, then likely the CDI is different as well, as the CDI surely reads the throttle position sensor then...
