Default Anyone have any results of a sound check for a pipe on a baja or any ds?

I am still trying to decide on a pipe for my baja and although i know i can do a search about pipes i would really like to hear from someone who has actually had a pipe sound check done .I am trying to not go above 96 decibels even though the limit is 93 where i ride.Any responses with some actual numbers would be appreciated.

You can get away with 96 most of the time. But if you have attitude when the pull you over for not having a flag, or riding out of bounds, you'll be toast.

It works great on the low end but falls off on the top end. I just ordered a Yosh RS3 for my DS. It is supposed to put up some good dyno numbers.

crackerjack. As (oregondunepatrol) said you can get away with a louder pipe most of the time but if the rangers want to go by the book they can and will ticket you. I would be happy with a 96 decibel rating because you can generally get away with being 3 decibels over the limit but so far i cant find anything for the baja that is even close to that.

I saw a guy get tested on a raptor with LTE duals. he passed at 92dbs. I talked to him after he was tested. it was at winchester. and he was the only one that passed when I was there.
