Tire measurement question

Tire measurement question
I have a 2000 polaris scrambler.The tire measurement is 23X7-10 for the front and for the rear the measurement is 22X11-10. I was wondering what the numbers stand for and i would also like to get new maxxis tires and need to know what mesurements need to stay the same for the tires to fit on the existing rim.Thanks
