SEAT COVER INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS

Before You Start: Read the instructions first and assemble as directed. Tools required: screw driver, pliers (for removing staples), electric or air compression staple gun (for securing new seat cover), ½” or ¼” long staples.

1. Remove old seat cover by using small screw driver to pry-up staples and pull out with pliers. After all staples have been removed, remove the old cover. If necessary, remove the old foam as well.

2. Place the new seat cover and/or foam on the existing seat pan. The bottom of our foam conforms to the shape and ridges of your bike’s seat pan. Using the staple gun, tack down the cover at the front, rear, and both sides to hold it in place.

3. Continue to staple the cover on by starting at the rear of the seat pan and follow the double stitched seam around the bottom of the seat pan. Alternate your stapling, usually 1” apart, from left to right, so you get a good even fit. On the corners, staple down one side, then fold over and staple down the other side.

4. Should you develop any wrinkles, they can be corrected by removing the staples in that area and smoothing the cover out before re-stapling.

5. After mounting your new seat cover or kit to the seat pan, install your seat on your motorcycle or ATV.

6. If you are having problems or don’t have a staple gun, you can go to your local upholstery shop, and they can install it for you for a nominal charge.

7. HAVE FUN!
