1995 polaris sportsman 400 carburator line help

hi all, I have a 1995 Polaris sportsman 400 that I am trying to get up an running.on the carburetor there are 2 hose connections on the carb 1 on the top and 1 on the bottom. where do the go??? I found a line off just lying in the engine area with a check valve on it is that for one of them? or something else?if any one has any knowledge on this please let me know.any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks

The fitting on top is a vent. The hose you found on the bottom with the check valve is for the carb. bowl. It is for the overflow. There is a fitting on the very bottom of the carb. it goes on. The check valve you can only blow through one way. The way you can blow air through put that end on the carb. Hope this helps.
