Well just read the new dirtwheels issue, and the TLD preddy beat the raptop in top speed, topping out at 74.4 or something like that, and the raptor i think it was 73.5. It was a tough fight, and if youre going to invest $500 in your quad, get the raptor because it adapts better to mods. I give polaris props for coming out and making a high performance quad good in their first year.

Well I'm pretty upset that it got beat, it also got beat in reverse, the raptor got about 10 and the preddy got 18.

 

I don't think it responds better to mods either..........JMO..........I think they are almost the same/close in about every category........

 

depends on what mods and who does them on each quad!!!

 

I am very surprised at those speeds! My 500 scrambler was just clocked at 70, and I would have thought with all the 4x4 stuff it should have been a lot slower than the race quads! mine is basically stock, just a K&N filter.

 

ill race any predator in reverse and ill put money on it....LETS LIGHT EM UP! =D, 01s are a **** load faster in reverse than the news one...and dont ask me why cuz i have no idea

 

because 01s use reverse off the second gear instead of 1st gear. That's why there were so many burnt clutches.

 

My buddy has a 01, and he has problems with his clutch....I will have to let him know why.

 

ya just how long did it take you to reach your top speed??? that's what matters, it's all about how fast you can get there!!
