I'm going to be taking my Banshee to the Wi and Mi
trails around Christmas.
What are the best tires for the snow and will I have to do anything to the quad engine wise?
I currently live in Florida.

I don't really have a preference on snow tires for a banshee. I live in NY and can't seem to get traction on the Ice and snow, Unless the snow is less than ~6 inches... I Use bandits. It's OK, But my wheeler spends more time in the garage than on the trails during the winter months.
As far as coming from Florida to ride on the snow... You will need to mess with your jetting for sure. Your warm weather jetted banshee is not going to like the cold air very much.

My brother has a Banshee, and he uses his Mud Sharks in the winter when it snows. We had about 13 inches on the goround this year and his bike went through it the best out of all of us. The tires I believe were the major difference.

I always used paddle tires on my banshee in the snow. It's kinda like cold, slippery sand... Just don't stop, or you'll be diggin!

you better check first before you go riding on any snowmobile trails, it is my understanding snowmobiles are only allowed on them during winter months. The couple I have seen on the trails were a danger to everyone because they were to slow and did not handle worth a darn.

I live in Quebec Canada, here in winther we have snow trails for atv like snowmobile have there own.
My set up for winther is 22-11-9 Dunlop Rover rear
and Front Max in front, all with ice stud like cars, with rear skid plate remove. The key with the rear tires is to have slim tread and the tire have to be slim like the 11inch that I use,12.5inch wide are not good. A good an cheaper tire is the Kenda Dirt Dog that some of my freinds use also in 22-11-9.
