i have noticed the color on my ground strap changes near the threads on my plugs meaning too hot a plug? should i try some DR9EA?? my base ring is dark, my ground strap is a very light brown/white color, and i have seen a few black specs on the porcelain. what do u think??

 

I would'nt. just change them with DR8EA's.

i use ngk DR8EA now.

 

if you see black specs on plug, you could have a serious problem with ignition/fuel.
