Default Scrambler 90

The exhaust tone on my daughters Scrambler 90 is progressively getting louder does anyone have idea why? I am thinking it's about time to be rebuilt, how long do these little air cooled motors go before rebuilding. This quad is a 2002 and has roughly 100+ hours. She rides at all times of the year.
We appreciate all of your replies.

It should last a pretty good while. Does it still have good power? If so then you might just need to repack the silencer. The more time they have the louder they get.

The quad is located in Northern Michigan so I cannot look at it right now.. Does it have a repackable silencer? I never thought to check that, It is down on power just a bit. I still need to put a compression checker on and see the results. If it has a repackable silencer I will pursue that route this weekend.

Thanks
