Default Spring spacers or new coils?

I recently put a plow on my '01 Xplorer 400 and as most people that put plows on, the front end sags when the plow is lifted. What am I better off doing, putting spring spacers in or buying stiffer coils? What are the pros and cons of each?

Thanks for your help.

I think I talked myself into buying the spacers because of the price. Would it be best to put two in each spring? What is the best location for the spacers in the spring?

Default Spring spacers or new coils?

Well I put 2 in my 03 700 springs and it had no effect on height they worked their way down to the bottom of the springs. I am pretty sure that i do have stiffer springs to start out with though. Wish Pol had adjustable front springs but alas. I think progressive makes some that has a threaded collar but are about 170$. Others have put a spacer under the spring to tighten it up, like a cut out hockey puck.

Did you do a search? I know someone here has fitted there own spacers to they're ride. I only wish I could remember who. It was a collar for plumbing or something like that. I will try to find it and get back to you.
