gotta rancher...gonna replace tires
#1
Hey guys...
I still have the original Bridgestone dirthooks on my TRX350FM 2004 rancher. I purchased AT489's to replace them. You think I'm gonna notice a performance difference? They are the same size as stockers. The tread pattern is the same for both front and back...whereas the dirthooks had different tread patterns for the front and back. Just curious.

shoulda just leave the dirthooks on. i thought they were a great tire for all conditions. went through mud up to the racks with no trouble at all. im replacing mine with dirtdevils only because my dirthooks dont have alot of tread left.

I just put a set of 26 inch Mudlites on mine last night. (type 5 wheels) I do notice some power difference in automatic probably because of the torque band. It seems fine in ES mode. I really haven't got to try them out too much but the places i went before in 4wd I now go in 2wd. I'll hopefully get to try them out this weekend. To answer your question I wouldn't be afraid to go with the 26's but if in doubt just go with the 25s, you'll be fine.
