Just trying to get some more info on this mysterious unit. It is a Yamaha Quad, and it had decals on it that read "Moto X" on it. The owner thinks it is a 200cc, electric start, doesn't know the year, blue plastics, headlight, electric start, he can't find a serial number anywhere. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I am trying to avoid a 2 hour drive if it isn't something I would be interested in buying.

 

My best guess would be a yamaha moto 4 - hard to be sure though.

 

maybe a bear tracker i dont know iif they made it in blue though

 

what kind of riding will you be doing. if the guy doesnt know squat about it, i dunno if i would buy it, he may have not taken good care of it.

 

I have to agree with recon99. What you more than likely have is a Yamaha YFM200DX Moto-4. I don't remember much about them other than I think they upped to a 350cc eventually. In 1986 a 200cc was a good sized bike, especially for a utility. I would assume the quad has a semi-automatic clutch?
