Default Shooting flames

Last night my friend with a banshee was following me and said my bike shoots flames out the exhuast (spark arestor installed). Is that caused my a rich condition or a lean condition?

Lean condition, and it can be damaging your motor. when do the flames come out? if its when you let off the gas, then your Piolits are too lean, if its when your on the gas, you mains are too lean.

It can be caused by a few different things. Air getting into the exhaust where the silencer and head pipe tie-in, a rich mixture that is causing unburned fuel to ignite in the exhaust), or a lean mixture. What octane or you running? I discovered my raptor pops and shoots a few flames on deceleration when running 89 or higher octane. I run 87 always now, higher octane burns slower which would send more unburnt fuel into the exhaust. Are you running stock pilots?

I run 92 octane, a 140 DJ main jet. My pipe is definetly no leaking air in, i checked that already, the clamp is super tight. Im going to try running regular and see if that helps, thanks guys.
