Hi all, just recently joined and I hope you may have some insight:

I've got an older Fourtrax 300 4x4 (prolly a 1991) with a busted rear hub. (The cv joints in front are also trashed.)
While browsing ebay, I found this 1986 fourtrax 250 . I was wondering if, at the very least, I could swap out the rear end on the 250 and put it into my 300. Will this work? I have no idea what the sizes of hubs/etc are. Would it be easier to just replace the hub and not the whole rear end?

Tires, etc. are non-issue right now. cv joints not a big concern right now either.
