Welcome to this forum, and the world of mini quads.

To view lots of different ideas on how to widen your LT80, surf: - Press Here -

If wondering, my niece had a LT80. Very fast machine in stock forum. But, it is on a very tippy side. Widening your new unit will make a world on difference on the sharp corners.

Hope this helps...

I personally do not like wider tires, but I do agree that the machine needs to be wider.
Nothing beats a Durablue axel for wideneing the rear but at $350+- a lil pricey.
Spacers can be simply made with bolts and spacers (I use 1" aluminum).
Midwest mini's wide-ride setup is the next cheapest option.

Hey LT80,

Please tell us more about "Midwest mini's wide-ride setup is the next cheapest option". For example, description, web site pictures, etc. etc. Like many, I'd like to learn more about this option as well.

thanks.

Instead of buying wheel spacers for the high price they ask for them, just make them. There very easy to make. Then you can make them the width you need. I make them. Then you can take that $100 for something else. Just a thought.

I will agree with lt80, if you are going to race I suggest you go with the durablue spacers on the front and durable axle on back. If you decide to stay with the stock axle you might want to keep a eye on ebay and pick up a spare stock axle just in case one breaks.

Atwater?........We were there in the 80's......Military Brats......

You can pick up some new plastic front/rear fenders for about $200 total on EBAY....I have a set coming my way for my daughters 2003.....he has red yellow green and blue....responsive seller....cannot beat the price since we know the fenders are doomed to premature death on any mini...
