i have a 01 400ex with a lrd full exhaust. how much would a jet kit help me?

 

jet kits are stupid. they are like what, $50? and you only need about $5 to buy the jet you need.

if you havent rejetted it yet with that pipe, it's going to make a big difference.
what else have you done besides the exhaust?

 

i bought it used so i'm not sure what else has been done to it but i think the exhaust is the only thing. it h\might have a different air filter but im not sure

it runs really good but i would like for it to be a little faster than what it is now. Let me know what you think would be helpful for that.

 

take that mainjet out and see what size it is. we can help from there. also, take note if the mainjet is a hex shape or round.

 

before doing anything check if it needs rejetted. are there any dead spots or hesitation. Hows the plug look. White = lean,
Brown= good, Black= rich. and yes jet kits are a waste.
