ok listen up.....i was riding down a staright away and suddenly i herd a loud noise, it came from the motor. Then the plug poped out an went through the gas tank, this scared me. i know i need a new gas tank and plug but why the hell did this happen to me and not some other person.

 

That would scare me too, just because of the body part that is closest to the tank. J/K

have you ever had your plug out before. Maybee it wasn't tight or was crossthreaded. If you never had the plug out before I would be calling the dealer. Make sure you check the threads before reinstalling a new plug.
I hand tightened the plug in my lawnmower once and it made a loud pop before shooting the plug about 6 yards.

Sounds to me like it was loose

How bad do you have to abuse a quad to make the plug pop out.

yopu buy a 6500 dollar quad and if anything goes wrong...uh rider error

 

be agressive and fight that. when did you buy the quad and did you ever take the plug out?

i can drop the 450r off a cliff and the plug wont come out (something else might[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] ).

 

It was your fault, you should of gotten a YFZ. -----------> J/K but that's bull crap, fight those ****'s until they cover it.

 

Shove the plug up the dealers *** and be like "THATS DEALER ABUSE" then walk away laughing.

It wont solve your problem, but it will make you feel better.

 

go in and ask for the honda of america headquartes telephone number. if you have never had your plug out then thats bs
