I was at a kawi dealer today to make a deal on a 05 kfx 700 and they told me that Kawi will not be selling there kfx 700 in canada any more because of poor sales. Is the 05 kvf 700 still being sold in the U.S? Or is the kfx 700 coming to a end??

I don't know what to think right know.

I work at a Kawi dealership and I don't think they are going away anytime soon. We had a prob tryin to sell an 04 orange V-Force. We had it almost the whole yr! We sold the other ones before that one just fine. But we finally got rid of it thank god. Don't think we ordered anymore yet. Might not order any more period. Maybe everyone is waitin to see what Kawi is doin with that 450 motor in the dirtbike. Might be stickin that in an atv frame from what i hear. CROSS YER FINGERS!!

 

I just found out that you can get 05 in the u.s. i don't know what's wrong with the dealers up here even if i had to wait for one i would. one dealer said "we are not going to sell anymore kfx 700 because for $300 more get a 750 BF 4x4"

I told them i have a 03 p650 and I want I a kfx 700 and they said "sorry no you are not going to find one" What the hell[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

Yeah, so if you read your posts it makes no sense. Either you are talking about the kfx like your title states, or the KVF which is the prairie. The first is laughable, but the second is very possibly a viable statement.

 

That's insane. The P700 is STILL arguably the best utility quad made. I would probably trade my KQ for one if given the opportunity.

With no more kfx700 being sold here in Canada, there will be a tear shed by a lot of p700 owners. I have an '04 and would not part with it for the world. I was at the local dealership and looked at BF650 and at least that still has the swingarm, which for now at least I still prefer, but I would be dropping 50cc. I will keep my p700 until the 36 month warranty expires in March of '07, God willing that I am still wheeling, and then I will have to make a decision. I am hoping that all the bugs will be worked out of the BF750 and all will be well in Kawi Land. If not, I am leaning towards the King Quad, mainly because I think Suzuki has the best EFI because of their long standing use of EFI in their motorcycle program. I would like to stay with Kawasaki if at all possible.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
