If it was true, and it was at least 650CC's, and included Reverse, I'd trade my 400EX on it, but otherwise, sadly, I have to buy the Raptor.

Incidentally, he said that he would have brochures next week, Whatever, I just can't believe that it hasn't been in a magazine yet.

man I hope thats not what it is.....650 with reverse? can you say heavy? yes.....well I guess the only thing that would please me would be a new 2 stroke.....but I don't think thats gonan happen....I can't believe no mag has pics of this new quad.....look how early they had pics of the raptor.....maybe honda is just good at keepin secrets.....well I dunno......later

 

Ok, I just won a heated arguement with one of my buddies about the weight of the 650 engine. Go to Hondas website and compare the weight of the XR400R vs. the XR650R. The XR650R only weights 21 lbs more! Thats it! True, they might have saved weight through a lightweight frame...etc...things like that, but it is also liquid cooled.

The way I see it, if Yamma can put a 660cc engine on a quad and weigh in at around 400lbs, why cant Honda do this .

Anyways, I HIGHLY doubt honda will do anything about a BIG BORE TRX. When Honda designed the 400EX, they KNEW it was not faster than the banshee or they would have fixed it. The Raptor is only fractions of a second faster than a banshee, so why should honda worry.

Dont get me wrong, if a 650EX(??) or what ever they release to replace 400EX comes out, I WILL be the first in line in my area
