Saturday i was riding my sportsmen and there was snow bank that my friend climb in 2wd on a honda rincon so i tryed it and i got about half way up and i heard a loud pop then all four tires were spinning i did not touch the AWD switch i very rarley put it in four wheel drive i tested it to see if it worked about two weeks ago to see if it worked before my warrinty expired. one week after it does this happens. Has it happend to anyone else?? Should i take it in??

although not exactly the same, read the threads from the last couple of days about AWD/4WD....

 

this is a shot in the dark, but have you checked your front hub fluid?
